IN MEMORY OF JESSI COMBS (1980-2019)

Jessi Combs was one of the most inspiring people the automotive world has ever seen.  She is widely remembered for being “The Fastest Woman on Four Wheels” holding a land speed record of 483mph.  Simply put, that was an incredibly badass accomplishment, but she was also very accomplished in the world of two wheels as well.  She was a motorcyclist who was very passionate about the two-wheeled lifestyle.  She built a custom BMW RNineT and presented it at the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show in Austin, TX.  She was a Grand Marshall at the 77th annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, becoming the first woman ever to do so.  She was also a huge influence for women motorcyclists.  She made frequent appearances at The  Women’s Motorcycle Show, Wild Gypsy Tour, Women & Wheels Bike Show and Babes Ride Out events to use her platform to help women share their stories about motorcycles.  Along with that, she helped teach women how to weld by offering workshops to the attendees of these events.  She also wrote a book called Joey and the Chopper Boys about a girl who loves motorcycles.  She was a huge part of the motorcycling industry and we at KIRSH Helmets would like to thank her for everything she did, she was truly an inspiration for motorcyclists around the world and will be missed.
